This course is designed for individuals or organisational-wide delivery and provides employees and employers with the knowledge and skills on how to, respond when you suspect somebody is having a heart attack, how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, or CPR, and how to rapidly deploy and use a defibrillator or AED machine if there is one available.
Learning Outcome
On successful completion of this course employees and employers will understand what defibrillation is, the nature of the heart, how the cardio system works, and under what circumstances you may need to use an AED. In addition, this course will show employees and employers, how to correctly use a defibrillator prior to any practical training which you should receive before administering treatment to a suspected cardiac arrest.
